Yes, The Cooling Company is Install & Service partner since 2019. We install the full Rheem lineup including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.
Rheem earns a 4/5 desert performance rating. Rheem's all-aluminum coils resist corrosion but can be more susceptible to physical damage from debris. Good value brand with solid mid-range performance. The Prestige line punches above its weight. Maximum ambient temperature rating: 120°F.
Rheem offers 10 years compressor warranty, 10 years parts warranty. Registration is required within 90 days. Standard 10-year warranty matches Carrier but falls short of Trane's 12-year compressor and Lennox's lifetime option. TCC adds labor coverage on all Rheem installs.
Rheem AC systems installed in Las Vegas range from $4,800–$8,800 (Classic Series) to $13,500–$24,000 (Prestige Series). Prices include full installation. Federal tax credits up to $2,000 and NV Energy rebates may apply.
Rheem is best for value-conscious homeowners who want good efficiency without paying premium brand prices, especially those also needing water heater work. Rheem offers excellent bang for the buck. The R96V furnace at 96 AFUE with variable speed is one of the best mid-range furnaces available. For AC, we recommend at least the Classic Plus series — the 120°F max ambient on base models means they'll struggle on the hottest Vegas days.
