We encourage you to independently verify all information. Here are the public record sources we use:
Check their Nevada State Contractors Board license status, license type (C-21 vs C-21B), bid limit, BBB rating, Google review score, and ownership structure. Our comparison pages verify all of this using public records so you don’t have to.
A C-21 license covers full refrigeration and air conditioning work including commercial projects. A C-21B is a limited residential-only license. The C-21 requires more experience, a broader exam, and higher bonding — it’s the more comprehensive credential.
Family-owned companies are accountable to their community — their name and reputation are on the line. Private equity-backed and franchise companies often prioritize profit extraction, which can affect pricing, service quality, and technician retention. We recommend asking any HVAC company about their ownership.
All data is sourced from publicly available records: the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB), Better Business Bureau (BBB), Nevada Secretary of State, and Google Reviews. We include verification dates and links so you can confirm everything yourself.
